The employee wasn't particularly friendly but he got the job done. There were a few groups ahead of us we waited about 10 minutes to check in. The check-in desk is basically part of the casino floor, but it's easy enough to find from where the taxi dropped us off (just to the left).
We arrived around 11:30 on a Monday night. Plus, it's in a perfect location right in the middle of the strip, and it was cheap, so it was hard to pass up! I didn't plan on spending much time in the room anyway. When I booked it, it was still under construction and the reviews were pretty low, but I hoped it was mostly due to the transition. I'll admit, I was a little nervous about staying at the LINQ after reading some of the reviews.
